Your information

Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information MyWeb handles when you contact the business and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Who is responsible

MyWeb is a Malta-based freelance initiative operated by its owner and is the controller of personal information described here. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to myweb.executive@gmail.com.

Information collected

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, business name and project message. When you submit it, the website securely sends those details to MyWeb and sends a transactional confirmation to the email address you provided.

The website does not create a marketing profile or mailing-list subscription. The hosting and transactional-email providers may process limited technical information, including IP address, browser type, request time and email-delivery metadata, to deliver and secure the service.

Why information is used

Enquiry information is used to reply, discuss your requirements, prepare a proposal and take steps you request before entering a contract. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps. Limited records may also be used for the legitimate interests of maintaining business correspondence, preventing misuse and establishing or defending legal claims.

Sharing and international transfers

Personal information is not sold. It may be handled by service providers needed to operate hosting, transactional email or professional administration, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms. If a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, MyWeb will rely on a lawful transfer mechanism where required.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are normally deleted within 24 months of the last meaningful contact. Information connected with an accepted project may be retained longer where needed for the working relationship, accounting obligations or legal claims.

Cookies

This website currently uses no analytics, advertising or preference cookies and does not place non-essential information on your device. A consent banner is therefore not shown. This policy and the consent experience will be updated before any non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies are introduced.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes

This policy may change when the website or services change. The date above shows the latest revision.
